My CoolSculpting Experience

double chin fatLet’s be honest, this look is only cute when you are a baby. Submental fullness, or Double Chin, is generally resistant to exercise, which is why I decided to get CoolSculpting. This non-invasive treatment will reduce the fullness and fat under my chin and give me a more contoured jaw.

The first time I had my CoolSculpting treatment I had two treatments with an overlap under my chin in the area with the most fat. During treatment, a gel pad and applicator was applied to my targeted area. The CoolSculpting applicator delivers controlled cooling (freezes fat) to the targeted fat. During my procedure, I watched “Hope Floats”, but you could read, check email, or even take a nap. The entire process was quick, easy and painless.

For my second treatment, Sandra, Blume Skin & Body’s Master CoolSculpter, decided to be a little more aggressive and do three treatments. I received one treatment on each side of my jawline and jowls plus one under my chin. Again, I watched a movie and before I knew it, I was done!

The best part of the CoolSculpting process is that I am losing fat cells! After dieting and weight loss, fat cells get smaller but the number of fat cells stay the same. When you gain weight then the fat cells get bigger. This procedure reduces the number of fat cells in the treated areas, which are naturally processed and eliminated so they never return and they won’t migrate to another area of your body.

I am excited to see the results from my second treatment in the next few months. I know I may not weigh less, but I will look thinner. I am excited to put my best face forward!
