What is SmoothGlo™?
SmoothGlo™ combines Stellar M22™ intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment with VoluDerm™ RF microneedling to give your skin a dramatic rejuvenation. An IPL Photofacial can treat a wide variety of skin concerns including rosacea, broken capillaries, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles.
RF microneedling stimulates collagen production by triggering the body’s natural healing response with an application of tiny needles that deliver RF energy to the second layer of the skin (the dermis). Clinical studies have also shown that RF microneedling results in three times as much hyaluronic acid naturally occurring the skin so your skin will be plumper, firmer, and hydrated.
What to Expect
First, your skin will be treated with Stellar M22™. One lesser-known benefit of IPL treatment is that it boosts moisture levels in the skin; this will increase the benefits of RF microneedling during the second half of the treatment. VoluDerm™ RF microneedling will wake your skin up by exposing the moisturized area to radiofrequency and a small electrical charge.
SmoothGlo™ Results and Recovery
There is little to no downtime after SmoothGlo™ treatment. Since IPL and RF microneedling work by stimulating collagen production, results will gradually develop over time. Complete results can be achieved within 3-4 treatment sessions and after this, you can enjoy long-lasting healthy skin.
