What is CoolTone®?
CoolTone® is an FDA-approved, revolutionary technology brought to you by Allergan, the maker of CoolSculpting®. While CoolSculpting® freezes fat cells, CoolTone® works to increase muscle definition with electromagnetic energy.
Active Magnetic Pulse™ (AMP™) technology stimulates powerful muscle contractions that the body cannot achieve on its own. These muscle contractions strengthen and condition the targeted muscle fibers to build muscle mass and tone muscle tissue. This powerful technology creates 50% more magnetic muscle stimulation than any other body contouring technology! CoolTone® can be used to tone, firm, and strengthen the muscles of the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs.
What to Expect
During your CoolTone® treatment, you can relax while 1-2 applicators are applied to the treatment area. You will feel temporary muscle spasms and a vibrating sensation from the applicator. Most patients do not find this uncomfortable, and the feeling is often compared to an intense workout. The CoolTone® procedure takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated.
CoolTone® Results and Recovery
CoolTone® requires no downtime or recovery, but the treated area may feel a little sore after your procedure. For optimal results, we recommend 4-8 CoolTone® treatments scheduled over a period of 2-4 weeks. Results will start to develop about 4 weeks after your last treatment. Additional treatments, a healthy diet, and an exercise routine will help you maintain your newly toned appearance.
